Biography

Lisa is a Progressive Care nurse at a Level 1 Trauma Hospital who specializes in postoperative care for cardiovascular thoracic surgeries, interventional cardiology procedures, and heart arrhtymia interpretation. She advocates for her patients ensuring their safety, comfort, and healing by providing compassionate, informed, and personalized care. She enjoys bringing the love of Jesus to the bedside, promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment for patients and families in crisis. Teaching and promoting patient health literacy are her passions. She is committed to helping educate the next generation of nurses to be the hands and feet of Jesus, by developing their character and passion for serving others.

Hobbies and Interests

My favorite places are: in a hammock reading, hiking in the Rocky Mountain National Park, kayaking the Kinnickinnic River, tending my perennial gardens, knitting by the fireplace.
