Biography
Natasha Montzka is the newly appointed Director of Orchestras at Bethel University where she leads the Chamber and Philharmonic Orchestras. In addition to her work at Bethel, Natasha maintains a private violin studio, performs as a freelance violinist, and teaches orchestra in the Forest Lake Area school district. She holds degrees in Music Education and Violin Performance from the University of Minnesota and Texas Tech University.
As a violinist, Natasha enjoys playing with various orchestras and chamber ensembles in the greater Twin Cities area. She can be heard performing with Ensemble Bravura on the SONY Classics album, “Finding Home,” which features Copland, Prokofiev, Kernis, and three world premieres by Michael Fine.
