Biography
Niel is an accomplished executive leader with experience spanning public Fortune 125 firm, Capital One; private equity owned financial services companies; top 3 credit union in Minnesota; and top 10 credit union in Wisconsin. As Executive Committee Member, Board Member, Executive Vice President of Fulfillment Operations, and Chief Information Officer, Niel has a track record of building high growth and operationally efficient companies by leading mergers and acquisitions, and overseeing operations, technology, corporate procurement, and analytics functions.
Most recently, Niel served on the Executive Team of Spire Credit Union - Minnesota's third largest credit union by membership - overseeing all aspects of technology and vendor management. He initiated the biggest voluntary merger in the history of Minnesota for Spire and subsequently led three successful mergers in three years.
Minneapolis-Saint Paul Business Journal awarded him the prestigious 40 Under 40 award for outstanding business and community leadership. Niel serves as Board Chairman of Christian Recovery Center, and is a Board Member for the Red Cross of Minnesota.
