Mr. Kashkari will make introductory remarks and participate in a Q&A session moderated by Professor Tim Essenburg. Learn about open market operations, TARP, too big to fail, Kashkari's run for governor, what really happens in the West Wing, and the radical way Kashkari sheds light on problems of the poor.
About Our Speaker
Neel Kashkari has had a successful and varied career. In the private sector, he was a managing director and member of the executive office at PIMCO. In the public sector, he served in the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where he established and led the Office of Financial Stability and oversaw the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) for Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama. In 2014, he was a candidate for governor of California.
