Event Description
For the safety and wellbeing of our students, employees, and guests, Bethel has decided to cancel this event given the rising number of COVID-19 cases nationwide.
The Bethel Basketball Overnight Camp is a fun week of great competition, individual and fundamental basketball development, and learning team play concepts.
The residential camp experience focuses not only on basketball fundamentals, contests, and league play but also character development and pursuit of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. A camp pastor and music leader, along with Bethel University coaches and players, provide nondenominational teaching of God-centered values and the skills necessary to live a life serving our Savior. As part of the residential camp, players are provided all-you-can-eat meals in the Bethel Dining Center and spend each night in an airconditioned Bethel dormitory, supervised by the Bethel coaching staff and current players
For more than 30 years, the Bethel summer camps have taught players the high-level skills and playing styles used at the college basketball level. Under the direction of the Bethel University men's basketball coaching staff, and with the help of high school coaches and current Bethel players, campers are taught the skills, hard work, and competitive attitude that is necessary to help them improve and show respect for the game. Off the court, both the camp pastor and music leader provide non-denominational teaching of God-centered values and strong personal character development.
The Bethel Basketball Camps use the facilities of Bethel University--a beautiful, wooded campus on the shores of Lake Valentine in Arden Hills, Minn. The campus has an air-conditioned gymnasium with two full-sized basketball courts, a 50,000 square foot fieldhouse with four full courts, a training room, locker room with shower facilities, weight room, and air-conditioned classrooms.
