Event Description
Bethel Business Academy connects high school students who are interested in a business career with expert faculty and local business professionals in a university setting. Students will explore a variety of business careers and gain insight about personal strengths and interests to help provide direction for college and career planning.
This three-day academy begins with check-in between 8 and 9 a.m. on Monday, June 16, and ends with an awards dinner (parents included) at 5:30 p.m on Wednesday, June 18.
At the Bethel Business Academy, students will:
- Discover business interest areas through taking the Myers-Briggs Strong Interest Inventory.
- Meet with business professionals from companies such as:
- Wells Fargo
- Allina Health
- SportsEngine
- Xede
- Allison-Williams
- Compete for prizes in a team case study competition.
- Connect with business faculty from:
- Accounting
- Business Analytics
- Entrepreneurship
- Finance
- Human Resources
- Marketing
- Tour a Twin Cities business.
- Hang out with current business student mentors.
- Celebrate at an awards dinner with your parents/guardians.
Overnight accommodations will be provided in Lissner Hall. Housing is suite-style with 3 bedrooms, living area, and private bathroom. Each bedroom has 2 twin XL beds, 2 desks and chairs, and a closet. Students will be housed with other students from their camp, with up to 2 students per bedroom. Roommate requests can be emailed to conference-event@bethel.edu. Students will be supervised by a Bethel Resident Director and a team of overnight Hosts hired from our pool of Bethel Student Resident Assistants and Teaching Assistants.

Cancellations
Cancellations will be accepted until June 1. The payment will be refunded, less a $30 service fee.
