Event Description
This camp is an opportunity for students aged 17-21 with intellectual disabilities to join us for an integrated summer college experience at Bethel University, where you'll participate in sessions focused on helping you to begin growing in your independence. You will engage in content and activities to build on your career interests and independent living skills, in addition to interacting with other students interested in college through some integrated sessions, evening activities, and more.
During this program, you will:
- Learn from Bethel faculty
- Participate in small group discussion and activities
- Live on campus
Students must bring a support person to provide support as needed throughout sessions and overnight (personal care and other support needs). It is recommended to bring a support person of similar age.
Overnight accommodations will be provided in Lissner Hall. Housing is suite-style with three bedrooms, living space, and private bathroom in the suite. Each bedroom has 2 twin XL beds, 2 desks and chairs, and a closet. Students will be housed with their support person. In addition to the support person, students will be supervised by a Bethel Resident Director and a team of overnight hosts hired from our pool of Bethel Student Resident Assistants and Teaching Assistants.
Bethel camps reflect the mission, vision, and values of the university.

Cancellations
Cancellations will be accepted until June 1. The payment will be refunded, less a $30 service fee.
