Event Description
Come and learn about healthcare careers through fun, hands-on activities! Scrubs Camp is a healthcare immersion program where students explore various aspects of healthcare and careers with sessions led by faculty and healthcare partners who are experts in their fields! Sessions will include Nursing, EMS, Physician Assistant, Surgery Services, Long-Term Care, Pharmacy, and much more. Scrubs Camp aims to get students excited and interested in pursuing a career in healthcare, and to go back home motivated and focused on what they can do in high school to prepare for that potential career. A more detailed schedule will be sent later.
Scrubs Camp is for students entering grades 9-12.
Overnight accommodations will be provided in Lissner Hall. Housing is suite-style with 3 bedrooms, living area, and private bathroom. Each bedroom has 2 twin XL beds, 2 desks and chairs, and a closet. Students will be housed with other students from their camp, with up to 2 students per bedroom. Roommate requests can be emailed to conference-event@bethel.edu. Students will be supervised by a Bethel Resident Director and a team of overnight hosts hired from our pool of Bethel Student Resident Assistants and Teaching Assistants.
Bethel camps reflect the mission, vision, and values of the university.
