Junior Recitals: Micah Lopez, Viola, and Ashley Sugimoto, Flute

The Department of Music and Theatre presents violist Micah Lopez, student of Emily Hagen, and flutist Ashley Sugimoto, student of Trudi Anderson, in Junior Recitals. Micah, accompanied by Herbert Johnson, will play the following program:

Johann Sebastian Bach: Suite No. 2 in D minor, BWV1008
          2. Allemande
          4. Saraband
          3. Courante

Ashley, accompanied by Herbert Johnson, will play the following program:

Mel Bonis: Sonata
          I. Andantino
          II. Scherzo
          III. Adagio
          IV. Finale
Katherine Hoover: Reflections (for flute alone)

Micah, Ashley, and Dr. Johnson will perform together:
Theodore Dubois: Terzettino for Flute, Viola and Harp

Micah's recital is presented in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Bachelor of Music in Applied Performance degree with a Viola Emphasis. Ashley's recital is presented in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Bachelor of Music in Applied Performance degree with a Flute Emphasis.
