Event Description
A sad young woman with a beautiful heart, a grouchy stepfather, two vain stepsisters, a supernatural godfather, and a prince who falls in love at first sight! Join us for our 2025 Winter Production, Cinderella, a hilarious opera "dramedy" by Gioachino Rossini. Bethel's production of this classic tale is double cast and sung in English with projected supertitles. Ideal for adults and children 7 years and older. Runtime is 2.5 hours with a 15 minute intermission.

Pre-Show Talk - Giacchino Rossini’s Faith on Stage
We invite you to arrive early for a pre-show talk by artistic director Dr. Merrin Guice Gill one hour before the performance (6:30/1:30). Come up to the front of the auditorium for the talk and then take a break before finding your seats for the performance.
She will be discussing how Rossini’s Christian faith informed his music making and is directly infused into his setting of Cinderella. Come early for this brief and fascinating look at Rossini and how he championed sacred music in the stage world of his time.
