Best Christian Workplace (BCW) update

Publication Date - March 12, 2025
Thanks to the 38 teams/departments that met together to discuss their 2024 Best Christian Workplace Team Results (or general Bethel results if a team report was not available). Here are just some of the action items developed and being invested in this spring and summer:
One team is addressing Item #18: I am satisfied with recognition I receive for doing a good job.
- This team has decided to embrace The SEEN Initiative internally (within their team) and externally with other teams at Bethel. They see that participation in this has the potential to also impact BCW Item #7: The Mission and goals at Bethel make me feel my work is important.
Another team is addressing Item #34: Overall, I am very satisfied with the level of Christian fellowship at Bethel
- One way this team has decided to address this topic is by scheduling a night for their department to go out to supper and reconnect prior to the beginning of the spring semester.
Another team is addressing Item #2: In my area, we work effectively as a team.
- This team is developing and using a shared document to update the team on what individual team members are working on. This will provide more information an allow us to have more time at our weekly meetings for discussion around topics submitted by all team members.
For those who don't have a copy of the 2024 Employee Engagement Summary Report, you can find it here.
Thanks to all teams who are investing in the pillar of Thriving Culture by using the Best Christian Workplace survey results to drive some decision making and action taking in their area!
